Game of Thrones: 5 Things you can expect from The Winds of Winter

Game of Thrones Season 8 might have disappointed the fans, but there is "The Winds of Winter", what can Game of Thrones fans expect from it? Let's have a look.
Game of Thrones: 5 Things you can expect from The Winds of Winter

Daenerys and Dothraki Union

Both in the books and the show, Daenerys and Dothraki had a union in Dance with Dragons and Season 6 respectively. Readers can very much expect Daenerys and Dothraki people to come together at least once in this book. The foreshadowing for this can be seen in Dany's House of the Undying visions where Dosh Khaleen can be seen bowing to her.

Jon Snow's Resurrection

Jon Snow is killed by his Night watch brothers in the book A Dance With Dragons, fans are expecting Melisandre to resurrect Jon Snow.  In the show in Season 6, we have seen Jon Snow resurrection so it is very much expected in The Winds of Winter, in the book though he might not remain the same person as he was before the resurrection.

Winterfell attacked by Stanis

Stannis Baratheon has not died in the books and is very much expected to attack Winterfell. The Baratheon king could be successful at his task or can be seen dying while doing so.

Milesandre Sacrifices Shireen

In Season 5 of the Game of Thrones series, we see Stannis Baratheon sacrificing his daughter. In the books though, Milesandre will most probably be the person who sacrifices Shireen.

Volantis Burning

Last but not the least, Daenerys has a long journey to follow before she reaches Westeros. In "Dance with the Dragons", slaves in Volantis were waiting for Dany's arrival. So it is expected that in "The Winds of Winter" she will burn Volantis and end the slavery there while on her way to Westeros.
